Make It Matter, Make It Happen, Make It Last

Financial Fitness Starts at Home:  Bloggers Lead the Way!

Bloggers about money, parenting, and financial literacy compete to prove whose readership has the highest number of parents who are raising their teens to be financially fit adults.

Final day for votes:  August 31, 2012

Prize:  TBA!

It starts with a promise.

We recognize that parents are the primary educators for their children about money.  In order to produce a generation of adults who are prepared to meet the financial realities of adulthood with confidence and competence, we know this ultimately lies in the hands of parents.

Financial fitness comes from REAL LIFE experience.  It’s the result of years of conversations, practice, learning, and exploring.  It’s much easier to develop effective money habits and attitudes when we’re young; it’s HARD to change these habits and attitudes when we’re older.

We dedicate this competition to the leaders and parents in our communities who give their voices to moving this critical area of parenting from the background to the front of our attention.

Competitors Tally Sheet, updated every Friday.
